Senate President

Responsibilities:
The Senate President is responsible for the leadership and management of the Senate. As the President, she sets the agenda for all meetings, manages the office and payroll of all remunerated members, and represents the Senate before the university administration and outside bodies. In addition, she sets the vision and strategy for the branch as a whole. The President also meets regularly with University Administrators.
Senate President Pro Tempore

Responsibilities:
The Senate President Pro Tempore provides aide to the Senate President in her duties. He is responsible for many of the internal operations of the Legislative branch, including appointing Senators to the different committees, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring that all documents of the Branch are kept up-to-date. He also chairs the Senate Executive (SenEx) committee and assists in communication between the committees. The President Pro Tempore represents the Senate during all Faculty Senate meetings.
Senate Committee on Rules

Responsibilities:
The Rules Chair is responsible entertaining legislation submitted to the committee as well as present approved legislation to the Senate floor. The chair also works in collaboration with the Office of the Senate President regarding bill numbering for legislation as well as ensuring that legislation is up-to-date. Finally, the chair ensures that the Government remain in compliance with the Statutes and Constitution, setting the agenda for the committee, and acting as a nexus of information for the committee as they discuss legislation.

Responsibilities:
The Committee Chair is responsible for overseeing the activities of this committee and ensuring compliance with statutes and provisionary regulations.
Annual allocations are made by the Activity and Service Fee Recommendation Committee (ASRC). The Chair is responsible for overseeing the activities of this committee and ensuring compliance with statutes and provisionary regulations.
Senate Committee on Judiciary and Ethics

Responsibilities:
The Committee Chair is responsible for overseeing the efforts and the operations of the committee and coordinating meetings between Student Government and organizations.The chairs entertains all Executive and Judicail nominees. The chairs also entertains and investigates any greivances about Student Government or any A&S funded entity.

Responsibilities:
The committee chair is incharge of presenting possible university wide student initiatives to the committee. The committee chair also coordinates Town Hall meetings to gather feedback from the student body.
Senate Committee on Community and Governmental Affairs

Responsibilities:
The committee chair ensures that the committee us up to date on all local, state, and national legislation that may effect the student body. The committee chair is also in charge of reviewing the efficiency of the Florida Student Association. Finally, the committee chairs also helps coordinate Senate Tents Days.

Responsibilities:
The committee chair is in charge of ensuring that committee review all Student Government and A&S programs. The Chair will also write reviews and makes suggestions to the entitites that programmed that event. Finally, the committee chair and the committee will be incharge of planning the Senate Retreart as well as the Senate Pin Ceremony
Senate Clerk

Responsibilities:
The Senate Clerk works closely with the Senate President and President Pro Tempore to keep accurate records of Senatorial proceedings. In addition, she assists the Senate in executing various legislative duties.
